1. The "Golden Rule" of Priming

Before you take that first hit, your coil needs to be fully saturated.

• Drip it: Apply 3–5 drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton through the side ports of the coil.
• Wait it out: Once you pop the coil in and fill your tank, wait at least 5–10 minutes. This allows the juice to reach the very center of the wick.
• Dry Pulls: Take a couple of "primer puffs" with the power off. This creates a vacuum that pulls juice into the cotton without risking a singe.

2. Don’t "Chain Vape" Your Mesh

Mesh coils are amazing for bold flavor because they heat up a large surface area instantly. However, if you take 5 hits in 10 seconds, the cotton can’t keep up with the heat. Give your device 30 seconds to breathe between puffs so the wick can stay wet.

3. Mind Your Wattage

Every coil has a "Sweet Spot" printed right on the side (e.g., 40W–60W).

• Start Low: If your coil says 60W, start at 40W and work your way up over the first hour.
• Stay in the Lines: Pushing a coil past its rated wattage will caramelize the sugars in your juice, leading to that "gunked up" taste much faster.

4. Keep Your Tank Topped Off

Never let your e-liquid level drop below the "wicking ports" (the little holes on the side of the coil). If the cotton isn't submerged, it starts to dry out, and a dry hit is a permanent hit—once the cotton is singed, that burnt taste isn't going away.
